Why Grip Matters in Pole Fitness

Pole fitness brings together strength, technique and skin-to-pole contact. When your hands or body lose their hold, it can interrupt a climb, unsettle a pose or break the flow of your routine.

Finding the right grip is personal. Your skin, the studio conditions and the movements you’re practising all play a part. Use wax for added tack at your contact points and DryAS when excess moisture is the challenge.

Find your Grip. Own your Flow.

Feel more connected to the pole with iTac2 Pole Fitness Grip. Add targeted grip for your climbs, body holds and favourite combinations.

Keep sweaty hands from interrupting your practice. DryAS helps absorb excess moisture so you can focus on your next move.

How to Use iTac2 for Pole Fitness

1. Start Clean and Dry

Start with clean, dry hands, body contact areas and a clean pole. Remove any lotion or oil from the areas you’ll use to grip.

2. Apply DryAS if Needed

If your hands are sweaty, sprinkle a small amount of DryAS into your palm and rub it over the required areas to help absorb excess moisture.

3. Add a Little iTac2 Wax

Spread a thin layer of iTac2 onto the contact points you need for your next move, such as your hands, inner thighs or behind your knees. Start sparingly.

4. Test Your Grip and Flow

Check your hold and release with a simple movement close to the floor. Adjust your application before progressing into your routine.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question? We've answered below!

Regular offers a lighter grip for movements that need some release. Extra provides stronger tack for contact points where you want more hold. Your preferred strength will depend on your skin and routine.

Yes. Apply a small amount to the body contact points used in your move, including your inner thighs or behind your knees.

Start with DryAS to help absorb moisture. If you also need more tack, follow with a small amount of wax. Wax and powder serve different purposes, so adjust each to your needs.

Choose your application around the movement. Use wax sparingly where your skin needs to slide around a static pole, and apply it selectively for holds. Test both grip and release before your routine.

Begin with a thin layer on the areas that need it. Add a little more only if necessary; too much can make releasing or sliding difficult.
