Lawn Bowls Grip for Dry, Confident Control
Control moisture. Improve grip. Deliver with confidence.
The iTac2 Lawn Bowls Grip System combines DryAS moisture-absorbing powder with iTac2 Sports Grip Wax to help bowlers maintain dry hands and a secure, controlled hold, even through long matches and hot or humid conditions.
Why Grip Matters in Lawn Bowls
Every delivery depends on a controlled connection between your hand and the bowl. When sweat or moisture makes your hands slippery, the bowl can shift during your delivery and affect your line, weight and release.
DryAS helps absorb moisture and keep your hands dry, while iTac2 Wax adds a secure level of grip. Used separately or together, they help you hold the bowl confidently without squeezing harder than necessary.
Made for Every End
Whether you’re practising at your local club, playing pennants or competing in a tournament, DryAS and iTac2 Wax are easy to keep close by.

Lawn Bowls Grip FAQs
Have a question? We've answered below!
What is the difference between DryAS and iTac2 Wax?
DryAS is designed to absorb moisture and help keep sweaty hands dry. iTac2 Wax adds grip, creating a more secure connection between your hand and the bowl.
Should I use DryAS, Wax or both?
If sweaty hands are your main concern, begin with DryAS. If you need additional grip on the bowl, use iTac2 Wax. For greater moisture and grip control, apply DryAS first and follow with a small amount of Wax.
Which Wax strength should lawn bowlers use?
Regular Strength provides versatile grip for most bowlers. Extra Strength may suit players who prefer a firmer grip or regularly play in hot, humid or demanding conditions.
How much should I apply?
Start with a small amount of each product. Apply DryAS first and allow it to absorb moisture, then add a thin layer of Wax if needed. You can gradually adjust the amount to suit your hands and preferred grip.
Will the Wax affect my release?
When applied sparingly, iTac2 Wax helps create a secure connection without requiring you to grip the bowl excessively. Begin with a small amount during practice to find the application that best suits your delivery.
Can I reapply during a match?
Yes. Both products are compact and easy to keep in your bowls bag. Reapply a small amount whenever you feel moisture returning or need additional grip.
Are DryAS and iTac2 Wax suitable for competition?
Both products are convenient for practice, club matches and tournaments. Competition rules can vary, so players should confirm any product restrictions with their club or event organiser.
